Senator Magnus Abe has asked his supporters to boycott the All Progressives Congress ward congress scheduled for Saturday, July 31 over alleged non-issuance of nomination forms to them.
Abe, who gave the advice on Friday while addressing his supporters in Port Harcourt said the directive became necessary following the refusal of the team leader for the sale of nomination forms to issue his supporters forms to take part in the exercise.
Senator Abe said it would amount to a waste of time if they participate in the process.
He assured that a committee will be set up to look into their complaints by the national leadership of the party.
“So tomorrow (Saturday) I want to appeal to everybody since they didn’t give you forms, don’t go and waste your time , don’t go and fight them, don’t go and worry yourself, we will complain to the National and there will be a committee”.
Senator Abe also disclosed that he rejected about one hundred forms issued to him by the sales of nominations forms committee on Thursday night, claiming that leader, Amina Gamawa issued the forms on the orders of some individuals.
